Joyful Noise will be providing special music for this benefit for the Horner Family. A little bit about the family, Josh Horner (father), Kim Horner (mother), and three girls MaKiley, Jailynn, and Karley Daniels. Kim is a Webster County native who married Josh Horner an Aliquippa, PA native and the family resides in Mathiston, MS. MaKiley attends Holmes Community College in Goodman where she is an active band member. Jailynn and Karley attend East Webster High School where they are active members of the volleyball team. Building a life together and supporting their girls is Kim and Josh’s ultimate dream. They enjoy spending time with their extended family and friends.
On February 3, 2021, Kim was diagnosed with Breast Cancer soon after her diagnosis she underwent surgery and began chemotherapy. Just six months after her diagnosis on September 29. 2021, Josh was diagnosed with bone cancer and has since had surgery and will begin chemotherapy and radiation. Kim has been off work since February and Josh will be off work for quite some time.
The hope is to have a benefit to help the family financially during their time of need. We cannot make that happen without people and the community’s help. We will have an auction, food plate sales, activities for adults and children, entertainment, and much more. It is guaranteed to be a great day with the people of the community supporting them during their journey. Bring your family and have a fun family day while supporting the Horner family.
